Description:
The Oklahoma VA Medical Center is excited to offer one 4th year externship opportunity for the 2025-2026 academic year. The Oklahoma City VA is a rapidly growing 1A facility with 12.1 audiologists and 2 health technicians and is located in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City. The city is growing and boasts a fantastic art community, food scene and access to many outdoor activities.

Funding is assigned by the Office of Academic Affairs and may not have been determined by the application deadline. OAA funding is announced nationally at the same time which should allow sites to know funding at approximately the same time. Historically, our site:   Funding for this position is pending the decision of the Office of Academic Affairs.

The mission of the Oklahoma City Audiology Externship Program is to provide a positive environment for students to become independent practitioners who will provide exceptional care to Veterans in the future. Externs will be expected to learn and demonstrate skills to independently perform all clinical offerings of this clinic.
